Spark & Shine Cleaning Services – Terms of Service
Booking & Authorization Holds

A valid credit or debit card is required at the time of booking. No charge is made when you schedule.

Full-amount hold three days before service
-
Spark & Shine places an authorization hold for 100 percent of the quoted price exactly three (3) calendar days before your appointment.

If the hold is declined and a new card is not added, the booking is automatically cancelled twenty-four (24) hours before the service window. Email and SMS alerts are sent after a failed attempt.

Your date and time are secured once you receive an email or SMS confirmation.
Cancellation & Rescheduling

Standard Clean
-
24 hours or more before service: cancel or reschedule free of charge (no fee).

Less than 24 hours, lock-out, or unsafe conditions: treated as a late cancellation; $50 fee.

Deep Clean or Move-Out Clean
-
24 hours or more before service: cancel or reschedule free of charge (no fee).

Less than 24 hours, lock-out, or unsafe conditions: treated as a late cancellation; 50 % of the quoted price.

A lock-out occurs when our team cannot access the property within 15 minutes of arrival.

You may reschedule up to four times without penalty, provided each change is made within the required notice period. A fifth change is considered a cancellation and the applicable fee is charged.
Payments

Hold conversion
After the cleaning is finished we adjust for any pre-approved add-ons or tips, convert the authorization hold to a final charge, and email a paid receipt.
If no extras are added, the captured amount equals the original quote. -
Payment method
Spark & Shine accepts credit or debit cards only. -
Late-cancellation charges
If a late-cancellation fee applies, we capture the fee from the authorization hold (or charge the card on file if no hold exists) and release any remaining balance.
Parking & Access

Please provide free, legal parking or reimburse our crew for paid parking.

The parking fee will be charged to your card if no free parking is available.

If suitable parking or entry cannot be arranged within 15 minutes of arrival, the visit is canceled under the 24-hour rule and the cancellation fee applies.
Right to Refuse Service

We may refuse or stop work if we encounter weapons, aggressive pets, pest infestations, bodily fluids, disconnected utilities, harassment, or any other unsafe condition.

In such cases the cancellation fee still applies.
Scope of Work & Add-Ons

Our published checklist outlines what is included.

Extras such as oven or fridge interiors, inside cabinets, garage sweep must be requested in advance so we can quote and schedule appropriately.
Service-Day Preparation

Clear floors, counters, and personal items so technicians can focus on cleaning.

If significant tidying is required we will contact you for approval of extra time and fees; if unreachable we will clean only accessible areas.
Breakage, Damage, & Loss

We carry full liability insurance and will repair or replace items we damage.
-
We are not liable for normal wear, improperly installed fixtures, unstable décor, or undisclosed valuables.

Report any issue with photos within 24 hours of service.
Guarantee & Refunds
We do not offer cash refunds. If we an issue arise, notify us within 24 hours and we will rectify the problem at no cost to you.
Recurring Service Adjustments

Discounts for weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly clients apply after the first cleaning.

Skipping a scheduled clean changes the frequency tier and price for the next visit.
Rate Changes

Standard rates may increase by up to 8 percent per calendar year.
-
Major changes to square footage, occupancy, or renovations will trigger a new quote.
Governing Law
-
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana and any dispute will be handled in Boone County courts.
By booking a cleaning you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
